Monday May 1
Left Big Bend right after breakfast. We spent the day birding from Big Bend to Davis Mountains State Park. We hit lots of little places and arrived at the state park right before dinner. Our major goal here is the Montezuma Quail. It was seen several times today but not by us. We will concentrate on it tomorrow. After dinner we had a great Poorwill show.
