Update #2 Tuesday January 27th

A day we will always remember. We spent two hours this morning, not birding but getting the van pulled out of the snow. What looked like a good road was a loosly packed snowmobile trail. It took the concerted efforts of three local gentleman, and a large truck,to get us pulled out. And we are so grateful for them and their efforts.

Then we saw a Varied Thrush that is coming to a feeder. After that things got slow as we went to lots of places birds have been seen but were no longer there.. But then..........the day turned around and in the span of 2.5 hours we had fantastic views of Northern Hawk-Owl, Boreal Owl, and Great Grey Owl

A day to remember!
