After a nice uneventful ride up to Kingston, we birded Amherst Island. We had at least 2 Northern Shrikes, 5 Snowy Owls, 15 Long-eared Owls, and 3 Saw-whet Owls. Rough-legged Hawks were too numerous to make an accurate count.
