We had a full last day on this trip. We started by birding the Niagara River and Niagara Falls area. Light snow was the weather of the day.
Then we started for home, stopping at Ithaca for another attempt at the Slaty-backed Gull. Only through the outstanding help of Tom Johnson, we were able to get distant views of the bird. An attempt to get closer looks was not successful.
The ride home from Ithaca was through winter driving conditions. It seems every trip has a stretch of that type of driving.
We were back in the Philadelphia area safely by 9 pm.
It was a great, memorable trip.
