We left in the rain and headed for Ithaca, NY. The rain soon stopped and we arrived in Ithaca about 9:45 am. Unfortunately after extensive searching we were unable to find the Slaty-backed Gull. We did check out some local feeders and were treated to a huge flock of Evening Grosbeaks.

Then it was on to Wolfe Island, near Kingston, whre we saw several Snowy Owls, several Northern Shrikes, and many Rough-lleged Hawks.
