We were in the blind at the Greater Prairie Chicken lek by 5:20 am. As dawn broke we were treated to a great display of 47 birds. An amazing experience.

From there we worked out way south to Lamar where we are spending the night. On the way we had Snowy Plover, Long-eared Owl, Great Horned Owls, White Pelicans, Eared Grebes, Swainson's Hawk, Yellow-headed Blackbird, etc. It was a great birding day.
