A wonderful day of chasing and general birding. We took advantage of the opportunity and chased an Arctic Warbler in the high desert near California City. There are only about 6 records of this bird in the lower 48 states. The bird was right by the parking lot when we arrived. Easy to see (see above). Great bird!

Spent the rest of the day birding down towards San Bernadino.
