Report 4

Posted 10/7/05 at 9:30 pm PDT from Watsonville

A day of birding the California coast. We started the day at Andrew Moldera State Park, then went to Big Sur, Point Lobos, Point Pinos, Moss Landing and the Pajero River Mouth. We had about 85 species for the day, highlighted by Snowy Plover, Blue-winged Teal, Stilt Sandpiper, Black Oystercatcher, Black Turnstone, and Wandering Tattler.

We are all excited about tomorrows pelagic trip!
